After much discussion and debate our league has decided to cease operations as a stand-alone hockey league and join forces with the No-Hit league (N-HL) of the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association (EMHA).
The N-HL was formed by several of the people who created the RECHL. It has almost identical rules and is dedicated to promoting fun, safe, no-hitting hockey in Edmonton.
We have been assured that the 9 - 17 age range will be maintained and every effort will be made to continue placing friends and family members on the same teams when requested.
Everyone who has been involved in any capacity with the RECHL or wishes to become involved will be welcomed to the N-HL. Coaches, players, families and friends are all encouraged to get involved.
